Is my newborn’s snoring normal?
My little man is 4 1/2 days old and has been snoring since he was born…but, it’s not coming from his nose…when he breathes with his mouth open, he makes a little snorting noice that seems to come from the back of his throat…i don’t want to stick the bulby thing down there, though…could it just be from some birth stuff still in his throat? can i safely wait until his two week appointment to tell the doctor about it? he seems to be fine with his breathing, otherwise…he doesn’t struggle, or anything…i’m probably just a worried first time mommy…
Call your pediatrician. If nothing is found, at least you will have some peace of mind.
