My symptoms could be more than sleep apnea?
I had health problems since October. GI symptoms which are … muscle pain, weakness, sudden loss of power, burning pain in joints, muscle spasms and cramps, fatigue, clumsiness, such as leaving things well, unsteadiness, tingling in legs and arms … My family doctor was not working blood were normal, at first he thought I had until the fibromyalgia I started having muscle weakness, he excluded Sleep apnea is snoring as I do more and sleep well enough or do I have many symptoms. He sent me to a neurologist as it I think a neurological disorder … The neurologist said he believes that I suffer from sleep apnea and has planned a test study sleep, I've talked with people who suffer from sleep apnea and they say I need to see a different neurologist and get a second opinion … has anyone else had these problems with sleep apnea??
The doctor simply checks the possibilities. A study on sleep is common, with many patients with fibromyalgia. It is true that sleep apnea can cause many symptoms that you experience. A diagnosis of fibromyalgia is made inpart by the exclusion of other things that could be causing the symptoms you are experiencing. In addition, it is not unusual for fibromyalgia patients to have multiple health problems in addition to fibromyalgia. Your doctor is covering all bases and you should be happy it is complete. I wish everyone got as good of help you are getting. Each person is different and each patient fibro symptoms and different problems. The thing about fibro Once you get the diagnosis, physicians tend to stop looking for other problems could be causing your symptoms.
