Do not prescribe a dental appliance for snoring?

My friend told me that her husband has found a device so that the dentist wont snore. I 'm interested in that. Done anyone know more? Cost, type, success? I had a sleep study done. I no sleep apnea. I slept with the CPAP – is terrible. I absolutley do not want. I'm also a little Leary to have intervention surgery on my uvula because I am a singer and will do nothing to reverse these tissues delicate throat. I do not drink alcohol.

My mother had a device from her dentist. I am not sure of costs but it is partially covered by his insurance. And she found it very is useful.
