What is the dental work that requires four post and then implanted false teeth snap on the job?
I assume the position is implanted in bone and teeth are snapped onto the post … Is this a good way and cost effective way to my problem? Here is my problem, I a piece of the Cross with a sub-obstruction. I have 2 teeth that is on my bottom teeth and the rest is back behind the bottom teeth and I ATM … If Please help all dentists are different and says, braces, jaw cut down the sides, not veneer, I'm so confused. Oh this dentist one said he would fix my mouth $ 45,000 and said that his treatment does not prevent me from snoring, I told him he was crazy and that's why you a nice office and drive a luxury car.
If I understand your description, you may have a skeletal class III malocclusion – if that is the case, which is difficult to resolve, which could explain why you find many answers. Part of the problem with this kind of bite is that your template limits to what far teeth can be moved. For example, you can move the teeth of the lower back, but at some point, they could be moved clear out the jaw bone … and your chin is still sticking issue. Therefore, surgery may be recommended – sometimes the only way to move teeth that distance is to move the whole jaw or possibly the upper (maxillary) out. I doubt much would veneers help at all if it is extreme it seems. In general, my recommendation is to visit an orthodontist and get their recommendations. Their recommendations will usually include the orthodontic and in May they have recommendations for additional surgery sometimes necessary, sometimes not. If you go with orthodontics only, make sure you know what the limits are (eg your chin may still protrude or you may not have much bite, etc..) Cost of ortho would be about $ 5k. Cost of surgery would add'l $ 10-20K. Cost to take all the teeth out, making 4 implants and a partial fixed "bridge" across the lower arc is probably around $ 18K. Not a good solution at all. And your relationship will not change skeletal not. Bottom line, it would be preferable to see an orthodontist if you really want to get your teeth into alignment. Take care.
