A removal of adenoids never eliminated snoring problem?

I can not handle the snoring more. I a two-story house and even with the door of his bedroom and closed on tv I hear in the house. We have not slept together in 5 years, snoring is sooo loud. I know that the sleep test and see an ENT doctor .. He said he had large adenoids as a child and they should be removed, they have never been, but if it did today – that it helps? I hope that is the problem. Anyone have experience with them being outside and being a quiet sleeper?

Enlarged adenoids adenoids can contribute to a snoring problem, but they are not the cause. The cause is a soft tissue at the back of the palate in the back of the wind pipe and block partially or completely.
