It is important to review the lifestyle of the individual that snores to determine if there are possible lifestyle changes that can be implemented to reduce the occurrence and or severity of the nightly disruption. Many simple lifestyle changes such as a reduction in alcohol, smoking, overeating or exercise can affect the snoring habits of an individual.
Alcohol and tobacco consumption each have an affect on the nasal and airway passages. If you are an individual that snores it is important to recognize that these two chemicals will negatively affect your body and increase the amount snoring that will occur when under their influence. If sleep apnea, insomnia or sleep disruption due to personal snoring is a problem, you might want to discontinue using either of these substances. By making this decision and implementing the lifestyle change, you
